Melchsee-Frutt
Switzerland, host of Winter Eurovision Sports 2026, invites you to its centre,
to the alpine high plateau and ski resort of Melchsee-Frutt.
Melchsee-Frutt is an extremely snow-sure and versatile winter sports area from 1080 m.a.s.l. to 2255 m.a.s.l.
The center of the extensive area is the high plateau at almost 2000 m.a.s.l. with great cross-country ski trails.
The ski area offers large, flat and very sunny pistes down to the high plateau as well as fast and steep pistes along the northern slopes over more than a thousand meters in altitude down to the valley station.
ACCOMMODATION AT SPORTCAMP MELCHTAL
The Melchtal Sportscamp is located just below the valley station, between Stöckalp and Melchtal, one bus stop away from the valley station.
The Sportcamp's comfort houses are equipped with rooms for 1 to 8 people (mostly rooms for 7 and 8 people), with private showers/toilets or shared showers/toilets.
In addition to a large kitchen and a large dining room with space for 250 people, there is another large hall for use in the main building of the camp.

We have not yet received a cost approval from SRG SSR for Eurovision Sports
but according to offers already obtained and further cost calculations, the price per person
for participation in the 2026 Winter Games should be around CHF 1,100 per person.
